Aqsa Maqbool is the sixth child in the family. She was born in Kohat, a small city of the province of Khyber Pukhtuwala . Her family was living there at the time of her birth.
According to the mother of Aqsa Batool, the immediate reaction from relative and family was very negative. They told her that defect would not be correctable and there are dangers involved in surgery. The sister of Aqsa‘s mother( Aqsa’s maternal aunt) who resides in Karachi, was knowing about al Mustafa Medical Centre and the treatment being offered here through some friends whose surgery was done here. So she called her sister and advise her to bring Aqsa to Karachi. So Aqsa mother brought the child to us. Father who is working in some company as a Driver that deals with Closed Circuit TV monitoring systems and earns Rs.20,000 per month ,stays back.
Lip was operated on 5th October 2019. The immediate reaction of mother was very gratifying for our team as she was all praise for us. According to mother relative and friends are amazed at the results of surgery.
Aqsa is due for cleft palate surgery in March 2020.
